Responsibilities

As a Data Scientist (m/f/d), you will develop data driven solutions for a wide range of business questions and help our clients derive sound decisions from complex data. You will combine statistical modeling, machine learning, and modern AI approaches to build innovative solutions, from data analysis through to production deployment.

  • Develop and implement data science solutions for various business questions, such as sales prediction, media mix optimization, impact analysis, geo analysis, or NLP based applications for sentiment analysis
  • Analyze and prepare complex data sets from structured, unstructured, and geographic data sources to identify relevant customer and business insights
  • Develop, optimize, and implement statistical models, machine learning methods, and AI based solutions for various use cases
  • Create reports, dashboards, and data based decision support, and present key findings clearly to both technical and business stakeholders
  • Present results and recommendations to internal teams and clients
  • Develop and maintain robust, production ready data analytics solutions and Python based applications for sustained use in client projects
  • Evaluate and apply modern technologies in AI, machine learning, and large language models (LLMs) to advance data driven solutions

Qualifications

  • You have successfully completed a degree in computer science, statistics, or a related field
  • At least three years of practical experience developing and implementing data science and machine learning solutions, and experience handling complex data driven questions in a business context
  • Very good knowledge of Python and experience developing robust, maintainable analytics and machine learning solutions
  • Solid knowledge of statistical modeling, machine learning, big data analytics, and ideally geo analytics
  • Experience working with structured, unstructured, and geographic data, and deriving business insights from complex data sources
  • Ideally, experience with large language models (LLMs), NLP, Apache Spark, and cloud technologies such as AWS (for example SageMaker, S3, Glue, CloudFormation)
  • Very good German and English skills, and willingness to travel occasionally for client projects
